Mateo Ahki
Mateo Ahki, 22, born and raised in the Downtown area of Jersey City has formatted a wave in the sixth borough. This Chilltown bred singer/songwriter/producer has been featured on The Source magazine for his solo album "veyebes" released on SoundCloud January 2017. The eight track project has received quite the buzz, giving him the opportunity to tour Europe and the title as an artist to watch in New Jersey. Mateo also hosts a bi-monthly event at The Grind Shop located in the Bergen/Lafayette section of Jersey City. Grinding After Dark is an after hours showcase that provides a new platform for local musicians to showcase their talents.
